We are seeking a sharp, reliable, and proactive Administrative Assistant to support a busy CPA office in Encino, CA. This is a seasonal, part-time role serving as the right hand to the CPA in a fast-paced office of three during tax season.

Due to the nature of the business, credit and background checks will be conducted upon offer, and candidates must be in good standing with their credit history.

Position Details
Location: Encino, CA (Onsite)
Start Date: February 18 – May 15

Schedule:
25 hours per week
35–40 hours during the two weeks leading up to the April 15 deadline (4/6–4/15)
Possible Saturdays: 4/4 and 4/11
No time off permitted between now and May 15

Compensation: $22–$25/hour (DOE)

Required Qualifications
• Some tax office experience required
• Corporate background with proven ability to work under deadlines and time crunches
• Proficient with electronic filing
• Highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and tech-savvy
• Strong job stability reflected on resume
• Must be available for the full duration of the assignment

Key Responsibilities
• Perform clerical duties including answering phones and preparing documents
• Heavy email correspondence with clients using Microsoft Word
• Manage and update spreadsheets and reports in Excel
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Schedule and organize meetings using Outlook Calendar
• Use Adobe Acrobat for document conversion
• Set up and manage meetings via Microsoft Teams
• This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and takes initiative without being asked.
