Job Title: Advancement Operations & Scholarship Coordinator

Pay Rate: $29.07 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Summer Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM (May 8 through July 31, 37.5 hours per week)
Assignment Type: Temporary, with potential for temp-to-hire or extended contract
About the Opportunity
We are a recruiting and staffing agency partnering with a state department to identify a highly organized Advancement Operations and Scholarship Coordinator. This role provides critical operational and administrative support to Advancement and Foundation teams, with a strong focus on scholarship coordination and donor stewardship during a transition period. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in advancement services, donor relations, or scholarship administration.
Qualifications
• Prior experience in higher education advancement, development, or foundation operations preferred
• Experience with Blackbaud or Raiser’s Edge STRONGLY preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and database systems
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate scholarship award processing, including donor restrictions and stewardship communications
• Track scholarship agreements, award notifications, and compliance requirements in collaboration with the Office of Financial Aid
• Prepare donor acknowledgements, reports, and other stewardship materials
• Maintain accurate and detailed records in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge or RE NXT
• Support alumni, donor, and advancement events as needed
• Assist with reporting and basic financial reconciliation in coordination with Finance and Foundation teams
