Job Title: Sanitation
Location: Oxnard
Sanitation - 1st Shift 11:00 AM - 8:30 PM
Sanitation - 2nd Shift 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay: $18 - $22 per hour

Summary: Responsible for using approved chemicals to clean and sanitize all components of food production and processing equipment, and the production rooms, to ensure food safety and quality. Personnel dedicated to general warehouse must use approved chemicals to clean and sanitize all areas and ensure proper waste management.

Food Safety and Quality is the responsibility of all employees. Employees must report any suspicious behavior, food safety and/or quality issues to immediate supervisor, QA and/or management.

The backup for the sanitation employee is the Sanitation Manager and will be responsible for the designated tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for following company policies, programs and procedures such as GMPs, SOPs and SSOPs.
Ensure food safety and quality by cleaning and sanitizing all food production and processing equipment.
Maintain environmental cleanliness through regular cleaning and sanitizing of infrastructure such as floors, walls, and doors per sanitation schedules.
Maintain proper waste management throughout facility.
Refill paper towels, soap, and sanitizer at all stations.
Responsible for completing documentation in a legible and accurate manner.

Education/Experience:
Work experience in sanitation in food, pharmaceutical, or personal care manufacturing helpful.
