Job Overview:

The Sanitation Technician helps keep production equipment clean, sterilized, and ready for use. This role supports multiple departments by preparing materials, maintaining inventory, and ensuring everything meets safety and cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean, wash, sterilize, and restock equipment used by various departments
Cut, package, and sterilize materials like shield paper and foil for production
Track and maintain inventory of sterilized items using lot numbers
Sterilize growth media, bio-waste, and other solutions for different teams
Assist with cleaning and flushing pump systems at the end of the day
Prepare honey dippers for soaking, rinsing, and sterilization
Collect and distribute purified water to departments as needed
Monitor sterilization equipment and run tests to ensure effectiveness
Keep the autoclave area clean and organized
Record sterilization cycles and report any issues to supervisors
Ensure supplies are stocked and materials are returned to proper locations
