Salesforce Administrator
Overview
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Salesforce platform. This role supports business users by ensuring data integrity, improving workflows, and enhancing system usability to meet evolving operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Salesforce environments, including user setup, profiles, permissions, and security settings
Configure and optimize workflows, validation rules, process automation, and approval processes
Manage dashboards, reports, and data visibility to support business decision making
Ensure data quality through audits, validation, and cleansing activities
Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce user support and troubleshooting
Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into system solutions
Support integrations with third party tools and internal systems
Coordinate sandbox testing, deployments, and release management
Document system processes, configurations, and best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
2+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience
Strong understanding of Salesforce objects, data models, and security architecture
Experience with reports, dashboards, and workflow automation
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201)
Experience supporting Sales, Service, or Marketing Cloud
Familiarity with data integrations and basic SQL or reporting tools
Experience working in a cross functional, fast paced environment
Work Environment
Remote, hybrid, or onsite depending on organizational needs
Collaborates closely with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and IT teams
