Key Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled residential service appointments for garage doors, openers, accessories, and related equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and operational issues and recommend repair or replacement solutions.
- Present service options, educate homeowners on products and warranties, and close appropriate sales opportunities.
- Perform repairs, installations, and service work accurately, safely, and efficiently.
- Prepare estimates, review work orders, collect payments as needed, and maintain clear customer communication.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, organized, properly stocked, and ready for daily service calls.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $55,000 to $100,000 per year.
- Washington: $25 per hour during training for up to 8 weeks.
- After training in Washington: 100% commission.
- Flexible schedule required, including weekends as needed.
- Field-based role with scheduled residential service appointments.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Diagnose garage door and opener issues during residential service appointments.
- Recommend repair and replacement solutions based on customer needs and equipment condition.
- Complete hands-on repairs, installations, estimates, work orders, and payment collection.
- Build customer relationships through consultative service and professional communication.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred in sales, customer service, home services, construction, skilled trades, equipment repair, or a related field.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools, equipment, and residential repair tasks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to homeowners.
- Consultative sales ability and confidence presenting options, warranties, and service recommendations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform active, hands-on field work.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and job site environments involving dust, noise, equipment, and frequent movement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience servicing, installing, or repairing garage doors, openers, or related residential equipment.
- Prior commission-based sales or home service sales experience.
- Experience driving a service vehicle and managing daily field appointments.
- Familiarity with residential construction, mechanical systems, or skilled trade environments.
