We are seeking a relationship-driven Sales Representative to manage and expand a defined sales territory in the Charlotte Metro area. This position is a blend of existing accounts management and new business development, calling on customers in the Industrial, Construction & Manufacturing sectors. This person thrives in a collaborative sales culture, bringing the drive and independence needed to grow revenue and create positive client relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Territory Management & Business Development:
•Oversee established account base within the Charlotte Metro area.
•Prospecting for new customers within identified target areas.
•Execute a hybrid sales strategy; cold calling for new business development, networking, on-site visits to client locations, attending customer events.
•Partner closely with inside sales and support staff to ensure seamless customer service and problem resolution.
Customer Engagement:
•Serve as a trusted partner to GCs, contractors, and industrial clients, ensuring long-term account growth and customer satisfaction.
•Represent the company at safety stand-downs, customer-hosted events, and industry networking opportunities.
•Ongoing vendor and product manager training.
Sales Process & Reporting:
•Track account growth, sales activity, and pipeline progress.
•Participate in monthly manager check-ins and quarterly reviews.
•Net new account acquisition and growth of existing accounts.
•Overall revenue growth and collections in assigned territory.
•Depth and quality of customer relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•5 years of prior sales experience within the Industrial, Construction, or Manufacturing industries. *Non-industry experience will not be considered.
•Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
•Skilled in developing new business and nurturing existing relationships.
•Will spend significant time on-site with customers, including job sites and safety events.
•Skilled communicator who thrives in collaborative environments.
