Sales Field Applications Engineer
Remote | Seattle / Pacific Northwest
Salary: $100,000–$130,000

A global technology company is seeking a Sales Field Applications Engineer to support hyperscale customers (Microsoft, AWS, and ODM/OEM partners) with advanced thermal and cooling solutions for AI and server hardware platforms. This is a remote role with regular onsite customer visits.
Responsibilities
Support and drive engineering-led sales opportunities with hyperscale customers
Meet customers onsite to present thermal hardware and gather technical requirements
Partner with customer engineering teams through design reviews and validation cycles (EVT/DVT/PVT)
Translate technical requirements into proposals, quotes, and validation plans
Coordinate with Asia-based engineering and manufacturing teams
Provide technical support across air and liquid cooling solutions
Maintain accurate CRM updates and project documentation
Qualifications
5+ years in FAE, Sales Engineer, or Mechanical/Electrical/Thermal Engineering roles
Strong ME or EE foundation; thermal or cooling systems experience preferred
Experience supporting server or hyperscale hardware development cycles
Ability to work with drawings, schematics, thermal data, and CFD outputs
Seattle-area based with ~25–40% travel (including Asia)
Fluent in Mandarin and English
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
