Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director for a direct hire opportunity in La Puente, CA. This executive-level sales leadership role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on sales professional with experience leading internal sales teams, managing independent sales representatives, and developing key customer relationships within manufacturing, wholesale, reselling, retail channel, or related industries.
The Sales Director will play a highly visible role in driving revenue growth, strengthening major account relationships, and supporting expansion into new products and markets. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership, influence commercial strategy, and help guide a collaborative sales organization toward continued success.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the internal sales team and external independent sales representatives.
- Maintain, strengthen, and expand relationships with key customer accounts and strategic retail or wholesale partners.
- Partner with executive leadership on new product development, market expansion, and long-term sales strategy.
- Establish sales goals, monitor team performance, analyze sales trends, and drive consistent revenue growth.
- Provide timely sales updates, performance reports, and progress communication to the Chief Executive Officer, including coordination across international time zones.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed for customer meetings, industry trade shows, and business development activities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 to $150,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead sales strategy, revenue growth initiatives, and team performance management.
- Manage key customer accounts, retail channel relationships, and independent sales representative networks.
- Support new product development, market expansion, and executive-level sales reporting.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and domestic or international business events.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of five years of sales management or related sales leadership experience.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, supervise, and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Strong communication, organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales performance, customer needs, market trends, and growth opportunities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-driven environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Window coverings industry experience strongly preferred.
- Big-box retail channel experience strongly preferred, including experience with Home Depot, Lowe’s, or similar national retail accounts.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems preferred.
- Manufacturing, wholesale, reselling, or retail sales channel experience preferred.
