We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Assistant for a direct hire opportunity in the Escondido, CA . This role supports a busy sales organization with CRM management, quote preparation, sales reporting, workflow coordination, and process improvement.
This is a great opportunity for a Sales Assistant who enjoys accuracy, communication, and follow-through in a collaborative manufacturing environment. The team values strong organization, positive cross-functional communication, and a willingness to improve systems and processes. You will work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and international team members while gaining exposure to CRM systems, QuickBooks, reporting, customer communications, and trade show coordination.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, process-driven, and comfortable supporting a team that relies on timely follow-up, clean data, polished customer-facing materials, and dependable sales operations support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain CRM data, including lead cleanup, territory assignments, lead distribution, follow-up tracking, and data accuracy.
- Support the sales team by preparing, reviewing, correcting, and improving quote templates and customer-facing quote presentations.
- Schedule tasks, assign follow-ups, track sales activity, and support the overall sales operations workflow.
- Communicate with sales representatives regarding client needs, presentations, customer support coordination, and related sales activities.
- Generate and analyze reports using QuickBooks and CRM systems to improve sales visibility and support business decisions.
- Assist with marketing and trade show coordination, including customer emails, website feedback, booth applications, vendor communication, and marketing material submissions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $24 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Employment type: Direct hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage CRM data, lead assignments, sales follow-ups, and sales operations workflow.
- Prepare, review, and improve sales quotes, templates, and customer-facing materials.
- Generate reports using QuickBooks and CRM systems to support sales and operational decisions.
- Coordinate sales, marketing, trade show, and cross-functional communication activities.
- 2 or more years of experience in sales support, sales coordination, marketing coordination, customer communications, or trade show support.
- Experience with QuickBooks is required.
- Experience using CRM systems and/or ERP software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and international teams.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay productive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting trade show planning, vendor communication, booth applications, and marketing material submissions.
- Experience drafting customer emails or assisting with customer-facing marketing communications.
- Familiarity with CRM process alignment across multiple regions or international teams.
- Prior experience improving sales procedures, documentation, templates, or best practices.
- Self-motivated work style with a strong sense of ownership, accuracy, and follow-through.
