Our client is seeking a motivated Sales Account Executive for a direct hire opportunity in Virginia Beach, VA. This onsite role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships, managing high-value accounts, and creating growth opportunities with national retail and government customers.

The Sales Account Executive will play a key role in expanding existing partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and serving as a trusted point of contact between buyers, internal teams, and field representatives. Key Responsibilities

- Manage and grow national retail and government accounts through consistent communication, relationship building, and strategic account planning.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and sales strategy development.
- Serve as the primary contact between buyers, internal teams, and field representatives to support account success.
- Negotiate contracts, present solutions, and close sales opportunities that support revenue goals.
- Prepare sales reports, account updates, presentations, and business communications using Microsoft Office.
- Represent the organization professionally in all client interactions, meetings, and business development activities.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $60,000 to $80,000 per year.

- At least 1 year of experience selling national brands to major retailers required.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including reports and presentations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Customer-focused mindset with a professional, relationship-driven sales approach.
- Ability to work onsite in Virginia Beach, VA.

Preferred Qualifications

- 2 or more years of experience selling national brands to major retailers.
- Experience managing national retail, wholesale, import-export, or government accounts.
- Proven success expanding existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
