Position Overview
We are looking for a Safety Technician to join our team and oversee safety and compliance across active field operations. This direct-hire role is responsible for developing and enforcing safety programs, conducting training, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is confident, detail-oriented, and comfortable holding teams and leadership accountable.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and oversee health and safety programs
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and field observations
• Train employees on OSHA regulations, company policies, and procedures
• Monitor and enforce compliance with DOT, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements
• Manage contractor safety compliance using platforms such as Avetta and ISN
• Provide guidance and challenge leadership when safety concerns arise
• Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and compliance reporting
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, including OSHA 500
• Experience with DOT regulations and compliance
• Ability to train employees on safety procedures and regulatory requirements
• Confident communicator able to explain regulations and push back when necessary
• Previous experience in safety management or technician roles
• Familiarity with Avetta and ISN compliance platforms
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in construction, maintenance, or related field operations
• Background in emergency response or fast-paced, 24/7 operational environments
• Prior hands-on safety leadership experience in the field
