We are looking for a Safety Officer committed to prevention and occupational safety in a contracting company.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, 2 days off.
SALARY: $21 p/h + Benefits.

ACTIVITIES:
- Prepare the project Safety Plan and Activity Hazard Analysis for each definable feature of work on the project.
- Conducts daily walkthrough of the project site(s) ensuring work is being accomplished safely and occupational health is not compromised.
- Safety training of all personnel assigned to project(s) and project site visitors.
- Accident and Incident investigations
- Attends and participates in all safety network meetings.
- Produce all Safety Report of activities performed.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, co-workers, supervisors, and management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical/Associate degree in Safety, Environmental Sciences, Medical Emergencies or related discipline preferred.
- Previous experience working on construction projects.
- 2+ years of experience as Safety Officer.
- Professional certifications (OSHA 30 Hours for construction, CPR, First Aid or others).
