We're seeking for an "Safety Officer" to work with a contract company.
LOCATION: Metro Area of Puerto Rico
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 7 am - 4 pm
SALARY: $15 - $22 P/H
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Ensure compliance with safety standards on federally funded construction projects
• Conduct daily job-site inspections and document findings
• Prepare and submit incident reports, near-miss documentation, and corrective actions
• Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks with field personnel
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve safety issues
• Maintain accurate records of safety training and certifications
• Promoting a proactive safety culture throughout the project
• Other related tasks may be assigned depending on project needs
REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma.
• OSHA 30 Construction Certification (required).
• Previous experience in safety, preferably in construction.
• Experience with federally funded projects (preferred).
• Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish).
