Seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to oversee our core banking systems, branch operations support, learning and development, and new branch development initiatives. In this role, you will lead the team responsible for supporting branches with complex technical issues and conducting quality reviews of branch operations, while also managing the development and implementation of policies and procedures that impact branch functions. You will work closely with the SVP Head of Branch Banking positions and oversee the Bank’s training department to ensure that new and existing branch staff receive comprehensive and effective training. Compliance with all applicable state and federal banking regulations is a critical aspect of this position, and you will contribute actively to the Bank’s efforts to maintain regulatory adherence. This role requires the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and primarily from the office. Key responsibilities include maintaining expert knowledge of deposit-related regulations, such as payments, anti-money laundering, and privacy, to ensure all deposit operations align with Bank policies and legal requirements. You will ensure that teams are adequately trained and that internal controls function effectively to achieve positive outcomes in audits and regulatory exams. Your expertise in the Bank’s core and ancillary deposit systems will enable you to serve as a strategic advisor on system direction and improvements. You will oversee the research, development, testing, and rollout of new deposit products, manage vendor relationships tied to deposit operations, and lead the assessment and revision of account agreements and disclosures for risk management and compliance purposes. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience), with at least 8 years of progressive branch or deposit operations experience in financial services, including 5 years in management or supervisory roles. Strong technology proficiency, exceptional organizational and time management skills, and excellent customer service and relationship management abilities are essential. You should possess sound knowledge of banking operations, regulations, and leadership principles, alongside excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking capabilities. Strong business acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment are key to success in this position.
