Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr FP&A Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Los Angeles, CA. This senior finance role is ideal for a data-driven FP&A leader who enjoys building financial models, guiding strategic planning, and partnering with executive and department leadership to improve business performance.
The Sr FP&A Manager will play a key role in annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, KPI reporting, pricing analysis, product cost modeling, and executive-level financial insights. Key Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning across departments.
- Build and maintain complex financial models, scenario analyses, and strategic projections to support executive decision-making.
- Perform monthly variance analysis, identify business trends, and present actionable insights to leadership.
- Partner with department heads as a finance business partner to align budgets, KPIs, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop management reporting, KPI dashboards, and board-level presentation materials.
- Support pricing strategy, margin analysis, product cost modeling, new product launches, market expansion, M&A, and investment analysis.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $140,000 to $160,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead annual budgets, forecasts, long-range planning, and executive financial reporting.
- Build complex financial models, scenario analyses, KPI dashboards, and management presentations.
- Support product cost modeling, pricing strategy, margin analysis, and strategic business initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally with department leaders to support operational and financial decision-making.
- 7 to 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Strategic Finance, or Investment Banking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced Excel skills are required.
- Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create clear, executive-ready presentations.
- ERP system experience required.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and strategic planning experience.
- Experience translating complex financial data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.
- Executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA preferred.
- Experience in technology, medical device, med-tech, or manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools preferred.
- Background as a Senior FP&A Manager, Finance Manager, Corporate Finance Manager, Strategic Finance Manager, FP&A Lead, Finance Business Partner, or Investment Banking Associate/VP transitioning into Corporate FP&A.
- Experience supporting new product launches, international market expansion, M&A analysis, investment analysis, TAM/SAM analysis, or competitive benchmarking.
