We are seeking an experienced SMT QC Inspector to join our team in San Jose. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay and a consistent weekday schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics inspection, particularly within an SMT (Surface Mount Technology) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) on SMT lines and complete FAIR documentation.
Inspect printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) for quality and compliance.
Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and bills of materials.
Ensure workmanship meets IPC-A-610 standards.
Visually verify fine detail work with precision.
Follow inspection instructions and document findings accurately.


Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in electronics inspection within an SMT line.
Proficient in IPC-A-610 standards and PCBA assembly processes.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Familiarity with MS Word and Excel (or equivalent software).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
