Job Summary

We are seeking an SAP Business ONE Systems Manager for a direct hire opportunity with an established international trading and distribution organization in Miami, FL. This role is ideal for a hands-on SAP Business One professional who enjoys connecting business strategy, operational needs, ERP configuration, reporting, and process improvement.

This is not a traditional software developer or help desk position. The SAP Business ONE Systems Manager will serve as the primary ERP business systems owner and a key bridge between leadership, operational teams, outside partners, vendors, and technical resources. The right candidate will understand business objectives, recommend practical ERP solutions, and help improve how SAP Business One supports purchasing, inventory, warehouse, distribution, finance, reporting, and related workflows.

This opportunity offers the chance to make a visible impact in a stable, international business environment with collaborative teams and engaged leadership. Candidates who enjoy ownership, problem-solving, process improvement, and working closely with business users will find this role especially rewarding.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead SAP Business One system optimization, configuration, reporting, workflow improvements, and business process enhancements.
- Manage requirements gathering, documentation, solution testing, user acceptance testing, implementation, and post-launch evaluation.
- Partner with business leaders and operational users to understand objectives, refine requests, and design effective end-to-end ERP processes.
- Coordinate with developers, vendors, implementation partners, and technical resources when integrations, add-ons, or custom development are required.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, or substantial hands-on experience, with SAP Business One in a functional consulting, ERP systems ownership, implementation, business analysis, or ERP management capacity.
- Direct SAP Business One experience is required. Experience limited to S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, or other SAP platforms without meaningful SAP Business One exposure is not considered equivalent.
- Strong functional understanding of purchasing, inventory, sales, warehouse or distribution operations, finance, reporting, and related workflows within SAP Business One.
- Experience implementing, optimizing, or supporting SAP Business One for real business operations, not only providing technical support or writing code.
- Working technical knowledge of SAP Business One tools such as queries, dashboards, alerts, approval procedures, formatted searches, user-defined fields, user-defined tables, and reporting capabilities.
- Familiarity with SQL, Crystal Reports, SAP HANA, Microsoft SQL Server environments, integrations, or SAP Business One add-ons.
- Ability to analyze business problems, challenge or refine requested approaches when appropriate, and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
- Strong communication skills with executives, department leaders, end users, developers, external partners, and vendors.
- Strong project ownership, organization, judgment, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities from discovery through implementation.
- Business-level English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Spanish language skills are helpful but not required.
- Experience in trading, distribution, transportation, storage, materials, warehouse, or inventory-intensive business environments.
- Experience improving purchasing visibility, inventory planning, demand analysis, turnover reporting, and goods-in-transit tracking within SAP Business One.
- Experience working with SAP Business One implementation partners, third-party add-ons, integrations, or custom reporting solutions.
