AppleOne is seeking a highly analytical Risk Management Coordinator to join a dynamic Human Resources department. Reporting to the Assistant Director of HR, you will be responsible for managing insurance portfolios, evaluating organizational risks, and providing complex administrative reporting. This is a critical role that ensures compliance with policies and manages the agency's disaster recovery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage property and casualty insurance and maintain active communication with insurers and insureds.
Evaluate the effectiveness of existing coverages and provide data-driven recommendations for changes.
Process and manage complex data for statistical analysis and strategic reporting.
Gather information for and manage disaster recovery processes.
Support the HR department in delivering strategic plans aligned with agency goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience: At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in data management, statistical analysis, or insurance management (public sector experience is a plus).
Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
Certifications: Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) or associate in risk management (ARM) preferred.
