Our client are seeking a skilled and dedicated Rig Technician to join their team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, assembling, modifying, and repairing heavy foundation drilling equipment, particularly our specialized rigs. This position involves frequent travel to job sites, including both domestic and international locations. Key Responsibilities:
Inspect equipment for damage or wear
Perform operational testing of components and machinery
Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed
Clean equipment and maintain organized workspaces
Diagnose and repair issues both in the shop and on field sites
Rig, lift, and move heavy machinery or parts
Order necessary parts and track inventory
Maintain company tools and equipment
Travel to job sites as needed (domestic and international)
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Complete service reports and communicate findings clearly
Support other duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma required; associate degree or technical training in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems preferred
Experience: 2+ years of relevant mechanical repair and diagnostic experience
Technical Skills:
Ability to interpret technical documents, diagrams, and manuals
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable using diagnostic tools and computer systems
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to stand, sit, kneel, crawl, and work in various physical environments
Capable of working independently in workshop, job site, and field conditions
Other Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license and current passport
Must be available for weekend, overtime, and on-call work
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
