Immediate need for resident services coordinator.
Are you driven to support vulnerable communities and create meaningful change? We’re seeking compassionate and proactive Resident Services Coordinators to join our team supporting Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) programs under the direction of the PSH Director.

Position Overview

The Resident Services Coordinator plays a key role in enhancing residents’ quality of life by assessing needs, coordinating services, and fostering a supportive community environment. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, and a commitment to resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct resident needs assessments and facilitate community meetings
Develop and implement programs that connect residents to essential services
Build partnerships with community providers to deliver on-site resources
Monitor and evaluate program outcomes; maintain accurate documentation and reporting compliance
Mediate conflicts and support positive resident engagement
Plan and coordinate recreational and social activities
Maintain collaborative relationships with residents, staff, and external partners
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with Los Angeles County resources and federal/state benefit programs
Experience working with diverse and underserved populations
Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HMIS/ICMS experience preferred
Ability to build trust, maintain confidentiality, and advocate effectively
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field; OR
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in social services or community development; OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience working with seniors, individuals with mental health conditions, or substance use disorders is highly preferred. Background in crisis intervention and community engagement is a plus.

Highly Desired
Experience with G.I.R.P., Trauma-Informed Care (TIC), Harm Reduction, and Housing First model
Familiarity with HMIS and CHAMP systems
Additional Information
Initial assignment based in Downtown Los Angeles (Skid Row area)
