Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, repair, and service residential and commercial garage door systems.
- Repair and replace springs, cables, rollers, tracks, openers, and related components.
- Install new garage door systems, accessories, and replacement parts as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and system performance checks.
- Educate customers on repair options, maintenance needs, and safe system operation.
- Maintain accurate service records and provide a professional customer experience on each job.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial garage door systems.
- Install, service, and maintain garage doors, openers, springs, cables, rollers, and tracks.
- Perform safety inspections and recommend appropriate repair or maintenance solutions.
- Provide professional, customer-focused service while maintaining accurate documentation.

- 3 to 5 years of experience in garage door repair, installation, maintenance, construction, or a related mechanical trade.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and solve repair issues efficiently.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and related service equipment.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds or more and perform physically active field service work.
- Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
- Dependable, self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to work well independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior garage door repair or installation experience.
- Experience in HVAC, electrical, construction, automotive repair, facilities maintenance, or another mechanical trade.
- Experience working with both residential and commercial customers.
- Interest in ongoing training, certification, and long-term career advancement.
