Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Remote Sales Director to lead U.S. operations for a growing food and beverage distribution business with a focus on noodle and beverage products. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an entrepreneurial sales leader who understands FMCG, mainstream retail channels, account strategy, and full P&L ownership.
In this role, you will drive commercial growth across the United States and Canada, lead strategic account planning, manage key negotiations, and build Joint Business Plans that support long-term market share and profitability. The environment is growth-oriented, collaborative, and well-suited for a self-starter who enjoys building structure, influencing strategy, and working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual sales strategies, account plans, and Joint Business Plans aligned with regional growth objectives.
- Own full P&L responsibility, including forecasting, margin governance, trade investment planning, and profitability performance.
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract agreements, trading terms, and strategic discussions with retail and distribution partners.
- Manage channel strategy and help resolve channel conflicts while protecting brand positioning and long-term account relationships.
- Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, and internal leadership to ensure brand alignment, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities across U.S. and Canadian retail channels to expand market share and improve sustainable revenue growth.
Qualifications:
10 to 20 years of sales, account management, or business development experience within FMCG, food, beverage, grocery, or related consumer packaged goods industries.
-Bilingual Mandarin is required
Proven experience managing P&L, trade investments, forecasting, and profitability metrics.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and/or Canadian retail channels, with specific experience in mainstream retail.
- Demonstrated ability to lead annual negotiations, trading term discussions, customer agreements, and long-term account planning.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate opportunities, manage risk, and drive profitable growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with noodle, beverage, Asian food, imported food, grocery, or specialty food product categories.
- Existing relationships within U.S. or Canadian mainstream retail, grocery, club, mass, distributor, or food and beverage channels.
- Experience scaling a product portfolio or building commercial infrastructure in a growth-stage market.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $120,000 to $150,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct Hire.
- Work Arrangement: Remote for 8-12 months then in office - City of Industry
- Location: City Of Industry, CA.
