We are hiring Remote Pharmacy Customer Service Representatives for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity supporting customers, pharmacies, and healthcare providers with prescription and pharmacy benefit questions. This 100% remote role is ideal for dependable customer service professionals who enjoy helping people, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced healthcare services call center environment.
This position offers structured training, company-provided equipment, and the opportunity to build valuable experience in pharmacy benefits, healthcare coverage, claims, billing, authorizations, and home-delivery medication support. Representatives will work in a supportive, team-focused environment with clear expectations, consistent coaching, and a strong emphasis on quality service, accuracy, and first-call resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls from customers, pharmacies, and healthcare providers.
- Assist with prescription benefits, eligibility, home-delivery medications, billing, payments, claims, authorizations, and medication deliveries.
- Research and resolve customer concerns while navigating multiple computer systems.
- Accurately document customer interactions and update account information.
- Use active listening, effective questioning, and problem-solving skills to support first-call resolution.
- Meet quality, productivity, accuracy, attendance, and customer service expectations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $15.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Full-time, direct hire.
- Work Arrangement: 100% remote.
- Company computer equipment is provided.
- Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week.
- Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM CST.
- Open availability is strongly preferred.
- Assigned schedules may include weekends.
- Training includes 16 days of classroom training and 5 days of nesting.
- Training schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- No time off is permitted during training.
- Support customers, pharmacies, and healthcare providers with prescription-related inquiries.
- Navigate multiple systems while researching benefits, eligibility, claims, billing, and coverage information.
- Document all customer interactions accurately and professionally.
- Work toward first-call resolution in a high-volume remote call center environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
- Strong verbal communication, active listening, and customer service skills.
- Good computer navigation and data-entry skills.
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems while assisting callers.
- Strong problem-solving, research, and information-gathering abilities.
- Comfortable handling approximately 60 to 80 calls per day.
- Dependable attendance and ability to maintain a full-time schedule.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must pass a background check and 9-panel drug screening, excluding THC.
- Must complete required pre-employment assessments.
- Must currently reside in one of the approved remote work states: AL, AR, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV, WI, or WY.
- Must have a private, dedicated home workspace with a locking door.
- Workspace cannot be a living room, kitchen, dining room, or other shared/common area.
- No other individuals may be in the workspace during working hours.
- Computer screen cannot face a window where others could view confidential information.
- Must be comfortable remaining on camera during working hours.
- Workspace will be visually verified during the screening process.
- Must have a hardwired Ethernet internet connection.
- Minimum internet speed required: 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
- Wi-Fi cannot be used as the work connection.
- Satellite internet is not permitted.
- Must complete an internet speed test verifying required speeds.
- Must have an active personal cell phone.
- Must be able to download and use the DUO Mobile authentication application.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a call center, healthcare, pharmacy, benefits, insurance, claims, billing, or patient support environment.
- Experience working remotely in a structured, metrics-driven customer service role.
- Strong ability to stay organized, focused, and professional while managing back-to-back calls.
- Open availability, including the ability to work weekends as assigned.
