We’re seeking an experienced Paralegal to manage a caseload of Personal Injury and Wrongful Death matters from intake through trial and case resolution. This is a REMOTE opportunity. Candidates MUST reside in California. Responsibilities • Manage assigned personal injury and wrongful death cases • Track and meet court and case deadlines • Communicate with clients and conduct phone interviews • Order and subpoena medical, billing, employment, and other records • Prepare and review pleadings, correspondence, and case documents • Handle e-filing and e-service • Coordinate depositions and assist with trial preparation • Prepare witness/exhibit lists, trial exhibits, and other trial materials • Conduct detailed file reviews and follow up on outstanding tasks • Maintain case management systems and case records • Research and gather information related to clients and cases • Work closely with attorneys, partners, managers, and other legal staff Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate • 1+ year of office experience; law firm experience preferred • Personal Injury/Wrongful Death experience preferred • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, Excel, and Adobe • Typing speed of 45+ WPM • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to manage high-volume work and tight deadlines • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate • 1+ year of office experience; law firm experience preferred • Personal Injury/Wrongful Death experience preferred • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, Excel, and Adobe • Typing speed of 45+ WPM • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to manage high-volume work and tight deadlines • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
