We are seeking Remote Call Center Reps for a contract Open Enrollment project supporting consumers with health care Marketplace inquiries. This customer support opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy helping people, explaining information clearly, and delivering accurate service in a structured call center environment.
In this role, you will assist individuals, families, prospective enrollees, and authorized representatives with general questions, application support, eligibility information, enrollment guidance, updates, and other Marketplace-related needs. This position offers remote flexibility, paid training, clear procedures, supportive leadership, and the opportunity to contribute to an important public service program. Candidates can expect a team-focused environment where accuracy, professionalism, empathy, and reliability are valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from consumers, prospective enrollees, the general public, and authorized representatives while following established policies and privacy standards.
- Assist callers with health care coverage applications, household information, income details, eligibility determinations, and plan enrollment questions.
- Document inquiries, updates, case notes, and service outcomes accurately in required systems.
- Process life event changes, demographic updates, disenrollment requests, and special enrollment period requests.
- Facilitate requests for materials by mail, email, or download, and coordinate translation services when needed.
- Escalate complex calls or issues to designated staff and participate in required meetings and training sessions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $18 per hour.
- Bilingual Spanish pay rate: $19 per hour.

- Location: Trenton, NJ.
- Support Marketplace consumers by answering inbound calls and providing accurate information.
- Assist with applications, eligibility questions, enrollment support, and account updates.
- Document call details and case activity clearly and accurately in required systems.
- Follow established procedures, privacy standards, and escalation guidelines.
- 1 to 2 years of customer service, call center, client support, or related experience preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly and professionally.
- Comfortable working in a structured remote call center environment.
- Ability to navigate computer systems, enter data accurately, and manage call documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, active listening skills, and a patient, service-focused approach.
- Ability to follow procedures, protect confidential information, and meet quality expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.
- Previous experience supporting health care, public sector, benefits, insurance, or enrollment programs is a plus.
- Experience handling high-volume inbound calls in a remote environment is helpful.
