Position: Remote CSR (English & Bilingual) - NJ Residents Only
Start Date: September 22, 2025
End Date: January 31, 2026
Pay: English CSR ($18/hour) and Bilingual CSR ($19/hour)

Overview:
CSRs will assist individuals and families with health coverage applications, answer inquiries, and guide callers through processes related to the Health Insurance Marketplace. This role is ideal for professionals with call center or customer service experience who are comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to inbound calls from consumers, prospective enrollees, and authorized representatives.
• Assist individuals in completing applications for healthcare coverage via the Marketplace.
• Provide accurate information regarding eligibility, plan enrollment, and policy changes.
• Process life events, demographic updates, and special enrollment requests.
• Accurately document interactions in applicable systems.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams as needed.
• Facilitate translation services for non-English speakers as required.
• Attend required meetings and trainings to maintain up-to-date program knowledge.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Associate degree or higher preferred
• Minimum 6 months of experience in customer service or call center environment
• Strong data entry and communication skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-call-volume setting
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with computer systems and telephone headsets
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

• Speed attestation required during interview

• PC Memory: 8+ GB RAM
• PC Processor (CPU): Intel i5, AMD Ryzen 5, or better
• No Chromebooks, Macs, or iPads
• Devices must be compatible with AWS/NJSBE systems
Headset Requirements:
• USB Gen 2 or newer; no Bluetooth
• Wired headset with microphone
• Must pass Genesys audio quality test
• VOIP supported (headset should have a return policy in case of incompatibility)
Smartphone & Webcam:
• Smartphone (Android or Apple) with working camera required for login/security apps
• Webcam required for training and nesting periods
