Position Overview As a Benefits Counselor, you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals understand, enroll in, and manage their employee benefits. You’ll support callers with benefit plan questions, help them navigate online portals, and follow up as needed — all while delivering exceptional service and simplifying complex topics. This is more than just a customer service job — it’s an opportunity to provide peace of mind during a critical time in people’s lives. Key Details Contract Duration: August start through December 31st (3+ months) Location:

Remote (must reside in Florida or Georgia) Pay Rate: $16.50/hour $17.33/hour for bilingual candidates (Spanish/English strongly preferred) Schedule & Training

Availability: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST OT Required: October–December (including some Saturdays) No time off allowed during Q4 (Oct–Dec) Training: 3 weeks of virtual classroom learning 1 week of nesting Schedule: 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM EST, Monday–Friday

What You’ll Do Handle inbound calls and some outbound follow-ups Answer benefit-related questions with clarity and accuracy Assist with website navigation and troubleshoot basic technical issues Deliver an excellent customer experience in a high-volume environment Use multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining professionalism

What We’re Looking For Required: At least 2 years of combined customer service and office experience Preferred: 2 years of college and prior contact center experience Skills: Strong communicator — able to explain complex information clearly Tech-savvy — comfortable resolving basic IT issues (cache, cookies, navigation) Cool under pressure — thrives in fast-changing environments Remote Work & Tech Requirements Internet: Minimum 50 Mbps download speed (no shared streaming/gaming during work hours) Workspace: Quiet, private, distraction-free area Equipment use: Camera must remain on during meetings and huddles No cell phone use during working hours Must be responsive via Microsoft Teams chat during shift Why Join Us?
