Position Overview
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to develop, promote, and grow sales of company products and services across the Northeastern United States and Canada. This is an office-based role located in Teterboro, NJ, with frequent travel required throughout the assigned territory.
The successful candidate will work from the New Jersey office and travel regularly to support customers, attend trade shows, and drive regional business growth within the bakery industry.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing
Prospect and contact potential customers via phone, email, and in-person visits
Identify sales opportunities, assess customer needs and budgets, and develop sales strategies
Conduct sales presentations and introduce products and promotional offerings
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
Follow up on quotes, leads, referrals, and Salesforce opportunities
Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with management direction
Prepare and implement semi-annual sales action plans
Account Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate customer and activity records in Salesforce
Submit weekly activity and call reports to management
Provide dealer support and prepare dealer-related activity reports
Identify market trends and communicate insights and recommendations to management
Trade Shows & Field Support
Attend trade shows, seminars, and marketing events
Follow up on leads collected at events
Perform operational testing, technical support, and follow-up at customer sites and in-house laboratory
Provide after-sales support in collaboration with Maintenance and Technical teams
Customer Support & Order Processing
Process orders and provide information on pricing, service changes, and shipping
Answer technical questions regarding products, device operation, and maintenance
Resolve customer complaints professionally via phone and email
Support collection activities on delinquent accounts
Additional Responsibilities
Submit business travel plans at least two weeks in advance
Complete travel and expense reports
Participate in special projects as assigned
Maintain high ethical standards and compliance with company policies
Communicate effectively with customers, dealers, and internal teams
Qualifications
Required
Proven sales experience in the bakery industry
Ability to work from an office-based environment with frequent travel
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada
Valid Driver’s License and U.S. Passport
