Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Regional Maintenance Mechanic to support multiple operational sites across California’s Central Coast region. This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing converting and corrugating equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. The position requires regular travel to various facilities within the region.

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, setup, and operational checks on production tools and equipment before approving for production use.
Maintain and manage inventory of maintenance parts and supplies; oversee ordering of new parts.
Manage and execute work orders related to berry operations and packaging equipment.
Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on strawberry packaging case erectors and peripheral machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues, particularly related to folding and gluing systems.
Plan and schedule maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion and equipment readiness.
Maximize equipment utilization by maintaining machinery to operate at 90% capacity or better.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and good housekeeping practices.
Follow corporate guidelines for Quality, Sanitation, GMP, and HACCP to maintain product integrity.
Complete all required documentation accurately and in accordance with company standards.
Remain flexible to work various shifts and hours as needed.
