A well-established non-profit organization located in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join their team. This position is responsible for managing the full life cycle recruitment process while supporting a high-volume requisition load in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Position Overview:
The Recruiter will manage approximately 50 open requisitions at a time, partnering closely with hiring managers to prioritize hiring needs, maintain consistent communication, and ensure an efficient and compliant recruitment process aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full life cycle recruiting from requisition intake through onboarding
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and prioritize open roles
Screen applications and conduct pre-screen interviews to identify qualified candidates
Schedule interviews and coordinate preparation of interview materials
Manage online interview scheduling processes
Source candidates using traditional and nontraditional recruiting methods including:
Career fairs, job fairs, and community networking events
Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, X-ray search
EDD, data mining, Indeed, Lever, ATS platforms
Create and manage job postings and advertisements (internal and external)
Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to gather recruitment feedback
Ensure recruitment processes comply with federal and state regulations
Maintain accurate candidate activity and documentation within the ATS
Travel locally for job fairs, campus visits, and recruitment events as needed
Attend workshops, meetings, and trainings as requested
May serve as a Community Advocate as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience
Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting principles
Experience managing a high-volume requisition workload
Proficiency in ATS systems and recruitment tools
Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Experience sourcing active and passive candidates
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience working in a non-profit environment
