We’re seeking a dedicated Corporate Collections Representative to join our team. In this role, you’ll ensure the accurate and timely resolution of all bank returned items while delivering excellent customer service and minimizing risk to the company. You’ll collaborate with internal departments and external clients, educating them on resolution processes and offering alternative service options as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
-Accurately resolve all bank returned items and process new or pending returns daily.
-Provide top-tier service to both internal and external customers, helping mitigate risk.
-Educate clients, branches, and product areas on return resolution processes.
-Develop working knowledge of a variety of financial products such as direct deposit, garnishments, 401(k), workers compensation, health & benefits, and FSA, to make informed decisions on revenue impacts.
-Research and resolve product or service issues, handling objections professionally and recovering as much revenue as possible.
-Collaborate on daily EDI payment and payroll hold reports to ensure updates are processed accurately and avoid penalties or service issues.
-Maintain daily call requirements and ensure compliance with department policies, the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, NACHA rules, and other regulations.
-Assess client status to determine appropriate services and minimize company exposure.
-Participate in continuous training to strengthen skills and industry knowledge.

Qualifications:
-Prior collections experience required.
-High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-Background in customer service, finance, accounting, or payroll.
-Experience in a call center environment.
-Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
