A growing construction services organization in Fresno, CA is seeking a professional Receptionist/Admin. Assistant to support front office operations, administrative coordination, and day-to-day office support. Assistant will play an important role in keeping office operations running smoothly while helping create a welcoming and organized workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, employees, vendors, and customers while maintaining a professional, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming calls to the appropriate employee, department, or business unit.
- Provide administrative support including correspondence, reports, presentations, forms, filing, scanning, data entry, and document management.
- Coordinate conference room reservations, meeting preparation, hospitality needs, office supplies, mail, shipping, and general office services.
- Assist with company meetings, employee appreciation events, recognition programs, trainings, community events, and special projects.
- Perform local business-related errands and deliveries, including transporting mail, documents, packages, supplies, and materials as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.
- Full-time hourly position.
- Manage front desk reception, visitor coordination, phone coverage, and lobby professionalism.
- Support office administration, document preparation, filing, data entry, and internal coordination.
- Assist with meetings, events, employee engagement activities, supplies, mail, and office operations.
- Maintain confidentiality and provide dependable support across departments and business units.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 to 5 years of administrative, receptionist, customer service, office support, or similar experience preferred.
- Experience working in a professional office environment preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members across multiple departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior administrative or receptionist experience in a construction, engineering, facilities, or professional services environment.
- Experience coordinating meetings, office events, employee engagement activities, catering, room setup, or vendor communication.
- Familiarity with office services, mailroom support, supply ordering, records management, and front office procedures.
