  • We are seeking a professional and highly organized Receptionist for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a healthcare services office in Orlando, FL.

    Compensation and Benefits
    Pay rate: $20.00 per hour.

    Job type: Contract/Temporary with temp-to-perm potential.

    Location: Orlando, FL 32819, Dr. Phillips area.

    Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

    Dress code: Scrubs preferred, or professional attire. No jeans or inappropriate casual attire.

    If hired permanently after 90 days, benefits include 10 vacation days, 5 sick days, paid holiday time, $300 insurance stipend, 2 pairs of embroidered scrubs, supplements at cost, and IV therapies at cost.

    After one year of employment, benefits include 401(k), 401(k) matching, and eligibility for a monthly production bonus if collections exceed $130K.


    This Front Desk Receptionist role is ideal for a candidate with strong medical office front desk experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a polished, welcoming experience for patients.

    This office offers a professional, patient-focused environment with a supportive team and leadership that values reliability, organization, and a high standard of service. The schedule provides consistent daytime hours, and candidates who are successful in the role may have the opportunity to transition into a permanent position with additional benefits after hire. Candidates located close to the Dr. Phillips area are strongly preferred due to commute considerations.

    Key Responsibilities

    - Greet patients warmly and provide a professional, welcoming front desk experience.
    - Answer and manage multi-line phone systems using strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.
    - Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
    - Perform data entry and front desk administrative work using Mac-based systems.
    - Support daily office operations including filing, faxing, mailing, copying, and supply organization.
    - Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.

- Minimum 2 years of front desk experience in a medical office is required.
- Strong customer service experience and professional communication skills are required.
- Experience answering and managing multi-line phone systems is required.
- Proficiency with Mac computers is required.
- Strong typing skills, organization, and attention to detail are required.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay composed in a fast-paced healthcare office.
- Professional appearance and demeanor are required.
- Candidates should live within a reasonable commute of the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with MD-HQ is preferred.
- Prior experience in a cash-pay, specialty medical, wellness, or high-touch patient service environment is a plus.
- Scrubs are preferred for daily work attire.
