Well-known education institution is looking to hire MULTIPLE Receiving Clerk's Part Time
Hours: 7am to 11am
Days: Monday to Friday
Health/Background Check Requirements:
*Employee pays out of pocket cost of $77 total for both tests, and we will reimburse back 100% of cost with receipt*
•Must submit to DOJ Fingerprint Live Scan background check once hired.
•Must have a TB Test administered and receive a negative result to start job once hired.
Qualifications:
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in shipping, receiving or inventory management.
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, move and transport items.
•Forklift certified is a plus.
•Basic proficient in email, spreadsheets, and inventory management systems (BEST or equivalent).
General Responsibilities:
•Receive, log and inspect all deliveries (packages, supplies, equipment, and vendor shipments).
•Verify accuracy against purchase orders, packing slips and invoices.
•Coordinate delivery and distribution to appropriate departments, classrooms, or storage areas.
•Maintain organization of the receiving area, boiler room, and related storage spaces.
•Communicate with vendors drivers and staff regarding deliveries and pickups.
•Report missing, damaged, or incorrect shipments to supervisors, vendors, and requesters.
•Assist with preparing outgoing shipments and returns as needed.
•Support the Facilities Department with orders on Open Poss.
•Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
•Perform related duties as assigned.
Skills:
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Good communication skills for working with staff, vendors, and delivery personnel.
•Reliability and the ability to prioritize and complete tasks independently.
