Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Rebates Financial Analyst for a direct hire opportunity in Guaynabo, PR within the healthcare services industry. This role is ideal for a finance, accounting, or healthcare operations professional who enjoys working with data, validating complex claims information, and supporting accurate rebate submissions and financial reconciliations.

The Rebates Financial Analyst will play an important role in preparing manufacturer rebate submissions, reconciling payments, supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities, and assisting with client reporting and audit requests. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a professional office environment with a collaborative team, supportive leadership, and meaningful exposure to healthcare finance operations, manufacturer rebates, PBMs, health plans, and contract-driven financial processes.

This is a strong fit for someone who is analytical, highly accurate, bilingual in English and Spanish, and comfortable balancing recurring responsibilities with ad hoc requests in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare manufacturer rebate submissions, supporting data files, and documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
- Validate eligible claims data, review utilization and eligibility details, and investigate discrepancies related to payment amounts or submission results.
- Reconcile expected versus received rebate payments and perform trend, variance, and payment analyses.
- Support rebate receivable and payable calculations, true-ups, and month-end or quarter-end close activities.
- Assist with client rebate reporting, including earned, paid, and owed rebate data, as well as responses to inquiries and audits.
- Maintain standard operating procedures, audit trails, and process documentation while identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and automation.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary Range: $55,000 to $60,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Prepare and validate manufacturer rebate submissions and related claims data.
- Reconcile rebate payments, receivables, payables, and true-up calculations.
- Support financial close processes, client reporting, internal reviews, and audit documentation.
- Analyze large data sets to identify discrepancies, trends, variances, and payment issues.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in healthcare operations, rebates, finance, accounting, or data analysis.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Experience using Power BI.
- Basic SQL knowledge and Microsoft Access experience.
- Understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, accounting close cycles, and internal controls.
- Knowledge of manufacturer rebates, chargeback processes, PBMs, health plans, or healthcare financial operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately with large data sets.
- Ability to interpret and follow complex contractual rules.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a small-team, fast-paced environment while managing routine work and ad hoc requests.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and lift or exert force up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting client rebate reporting, financial audits, or external review requests.
- Experience maintaining SOPs, audit trails, and process documentation.
- Prior involvement in system testing, process improvement, automation, or data quality initiatives.
- Healthcare finance experience within a PBM, health plan, or related healthcare services environment.
