A reputable real estate law firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Post Closer to join its dynamic real estate team. This role is ideal for a real estate professional with strong post-closing experience in mortgage transactions, title review, and document disbursement — ready to take the lead on managing complex closings from final review to policy issuance.

About the Role
The Post Closer ensures the smooth and compliant execution of real estate transactions by overseeing document accuracy, e-recording, disbursements, and post-closing follow-ups. This role works closely with internal legal teams and external partners such as lenders, title agents, brokers, and realtors. A hybrid work schedule is available after the first 90 days.

Key Responsibilities
Review and verify closing documents for accuracy and compliance
Ensure disbursements align with Closing Disclosure figures
Act as Notary Public as needed
Perform e-recordings and resolve rejected filings
Track and follow up on title policies, endorsements, and post-closing items
Coordinate with lenders, brokers, realtors, and internal legal teams
Maintain accurate post-closing records using iManage, Excel, and other systems
Communicate professionally with clients and third parties throughout the process

Requirements
Minimum 5 years of post-closing experience in real estate (law firm or title company preferred)
Strong knowledge of mortgage loan closings, title processes, and disbursements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; SoftPro experience is a plus
Experience with document management systems like iManage
Florida Notary Public license (or willingness to obtain)
High level of organization and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple transactions and meet deadlines efficiently
