About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable Real Estate Operations Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of office buildouts, closures, and transitions across a global real estate portfolio. This role requires a strong background in construction project oversight, facilities planning, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational standards.
You will act as the primary project leader and point of contact for contractors, developers, internal teams, and business leaders—driving successful execution from initial scoping through final handover. This position includes regional travel (up to 60%) and may require on-site presence during key project phases.
Key Responsibilities
Construction & Portfolio Management
Manage execution of office buildouts, retrofits, decommissions, and renovations.
Oversee design, permitting, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with third-party project management firms.
Conduct final walkthroughs and resolve punch list items prior to handover.
Collect and organize all closeout documents (drawings, manuals, warranties, permits, etc.).
Coordinate asset tagging and ownership for FF&E, IT, and infrastructure.
Oversee invoicing, retention release, and vendor contract closure.
Project & Contract Oversight
Develop project budgets, negotiate contracts, and manage costs.
Review schedules, bids, and change orders for alignment with business needs.
Select and onboard vendors, ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
Manage service contracts, amendments, and renewals in collaboration with finance and legal teams.
Cross-Functional Integration
Act as the integrator between construction and operational teams (Workplace, Security, IT).
Develop processes and reporting systems for scalable project execution.
Real Estate Data & Lease Administration Support
Assist with due diligence and feasibility for new opportunities.
Maintain accurate property and lease data, ensuring alignment with space planning.
Track lease dates, renewals, and occupancy metrics for business planning.
Support landlord communications, maintenance issues, and broker engagements.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
5+ years managing commercial real estate, construction, or workplace projects.
Proven success managing multiple projects, large-scale buildouts, and cost-sensitive renovations.
Strong cross-functional coordination experience (Workplace, IT, Security).
Skilled in construction contracts, scheduling, and performance tracking.
Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Slack.
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of construction or facilities management experience.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM tools, and project scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera).
Expertise in change order management, commissioning, and capital planning.
