A highly regarded law firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Real Estate Legal Assistant to support a busy team of attorneys and paralegals handling complex commercial real estate matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong legal administrative skills and a background in real estate law.

About the Role
The Legal Assistant will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations of the real estate practice, from calendar management and document preparation to client communication and transaction coordination. After the initial 90 days, the position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel
Prepare, revise, and finalize legal documents related to real estate transactions
Assist attorneys and paralegals with commercial real estate closings
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and emails
Prepare and submit attorney expense reports and assist with billing review
Maintain physical and electronic filing systems
Communicate with clients, vendors, title companies, and other third parties

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a legal assistant in real estate law
Strong organizational, multitasking, and administrative skills
Familiarity with legal terminology and real estate processes
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
