We’re seeking an experienced Escrow Assistant to support a busy escrow team with critical tasks before, during, and after closing. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ideal for someone with solid escrow experience who can step in and keep files moving efficiently.

Responsibilities

Prior to Closing
Order and verify payoffs, utilities, HOA documents, tax information, and commission details.
Handle file requirements including liens, judgments, and bankruptcy items.
Prepare documents such as Power of Attorneys and Quit Claim Deeds.
Disburse files, verify wire accuracy, and maintain communication with the Escrow Officer.
Assist with walk-ins, calls, and occasional receptionist coverage.

During Closing

Enter lender figures, print closing documents, prepare checks, and assist with outgoing communications.

After Closing

Clean out and prepare files for shipping, recordings, and any escrow holdbacks.
Organize completed files for scanning and archiving.


Qualifications

4–6 years of Escrow Assistant experience required.
Strong understanding of escrow processes, title commitments, and closing workflows.
Experience handling payoffs, HOAs, taxes, disbursements, and closing packages.
Proficient with escrow systems and Microsoft Office.
Excellent organization, multitasking, and customer service skills.
