Are you a hands-on electronics professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex hardware, solving technical problems, and making a direct impact on product quality? We are seeking a skilled and motivated RMA Technician to join our Repair & Test Engineering team.
In this role, you will play a critical part in our closed-loop corrective action process by diagnosing, repairing, testing, and improving products returned from the field, production floor, and engineering builds. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to help drive product reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational success.
Core Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rework returned products down to the component level
Perform preliminary failure analysis and document findings within the Navision system
Conduct operational testing and fault isolation on production-level products
Support debug and troubleshooting activities for products failing integration, ETT, and incoming functional testing
Perform assembly, soldering, rework, and quality testing for prototype and production assemblies
Assist Production and Operations teams in achieving shipping goals through repair, assembly, and packing support
Event-Driven Support
Assist and train Contract Manufacturer (CM) personnel on troubleshooting and repair processes
Support on-site debugging and repair activities at CM and customer locations
Collaborate with Design and Test Engineering teams during HALT and EMI testing
Help identify failure modes and provide feedback to Engineering teams for continuous product improvement
Support incoming inspection activities related to workmanship, solder quality, BIOS/CMOS, and functionality
Build development testers based on customer requirements
Education & Experience
AA/AS Degree in Electronics or equivalent technical training and hands-on experience
Minimum 5 years of related experience in electronics repair, testing, or manufacturing support
Technical Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills at the component level
Experience with soldering, rework, and electronics repair
Ability to read schematics, test procedures, and technical documentation
Familiarity with production testing, failure analysis, and manufacturing support environments
Experience supporting prototype and production hardware
Strong understanding of quality processes and corrective action systems
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced production and engineering environments
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
