We are seeking a mid-level Benefits Analyst to support retirement and pension administration. This role focuses on reviewing applications, determining eligibility, and ensuring compliance with policies (ERISA, IRS, internal guidelines).
Key Responsibilities:
Review and validate retirement and benefits applications for accuracy and completeness
Process retirement, survivor, disability, and insurance-related cases
Conduct research on payroll and historical data to resolve discrepancies
Manage a high-volume caseload with timely follow-ups and clear documentation
Respond to member inquiries and explain complex benefits information
Escalate complex cases as needed and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Support audits, data integrity, and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in benefits, retirement, or pension administration
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to interpret policies and regulatory guidelines
Experience with Excel, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), or case management systems preferred
