AppleOne has partnered with a manufacturing company in Fontana to assist with hiring 2 Quality Techs on a contract basis.

Position: Quality Technician
Hourly Rate $24.00 - $25.20
Schedule: Monday – Friday 4:00AM – 2:30 PM
Length of Position: Temp contract 1-3 months

QC Technician Role:
• Good with computer (spreadsheets)
• knowledge of measurement tools (micrometer, calipers etc)
• being able to read technical drawing is a big plus
• QC inspection background

Summary
The Quality Specialist will be responsible for supporting and assisting the production and operations teams with the execution of the quality control plans, quality inspections and quality product verifications defined in our company quality standards. The Quality Specialist is an expert in metal manufacturing processes who teaches and facilitates implementation of standard operational excellence methods and tools to deliver best in class quality results and lead specific activities to ensure manufacturing processes and quality requirements being followed accordingly.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor day to day production processes to ensure product quality compliance as measured by company, industry, and customer specifications.
• Supports and improve of control material Qualification process. Works in conjunction with other departments to develop, qualify, and transfer the Qualification process, as applicable.
• Ensures maintenance of QC equipment – qualification, calibration and maintenance.
• Lead and support formal quality initiatives including SPC and Six Sigma.
• Participate in investigations for failures during Quality control testing; perform troubleshooting, process development, and improvement activities.
