We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented leader to own quality operations across a high-volume distribution network supporting the Retail DIY and plumbing wholesale industries. If you enjoy turning complex processes into streamlined, scalable solutions—and collaborating across teams to make it happen—this could be your next big move.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Own and lead Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) across inbound, in-process, and outbound operations
* Build and manage supplier quality programs (audits, scorecards, corrective actions, performance tracking)
* Drive root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Implement and maintain inspection plans for high-SKU product lines
* Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management systems
* Leverage Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma methodologies to reduce defects and improve efficiency
* Support and enhance PPP (Production Part Approval Process) and product qualification workflows
* Maintain traceability, documentation, reporting, and recall readiness programs
* Partner with Engineering, Sourcing, and Supply Chain on new product launches and supplier onboarding
What You Bring:
? Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 5+ years of Quality Management experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
* Strong expertise in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (QMS)
* Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
* Experience managing quality in a high-SKU, complex product environment
* Proven track record with supplier quality management
* Strong knowledge of: Root Cause Analysis (RCA); Fishbone Analysis; CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
* Experience with PPP (Production Part Approval Process) or similar product validation processes
* Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems, including: SAP Oracle
* Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
? Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in plumbing, building materials, hardware, or industrial distribution
* Familiarity with: NSF/ANSI standards; Low-lead regulations; CUPC certification requirements
* ASQ, Lean, or Six Sigma certification
* Experience working with global suppliers
* Background in distribution center operations or warehouse environments
