Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager

-Pay: $80-120k/year DOE
-Job Description
Seeking an experienced Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager to join our team. The selected individual will be responsible for leading, implementing, and measuring the effectiveness of our Quality Management System (QMS).
-Essential Functions
• Lead the quality team to achieve company goals, with a strong focus on zero defects, on time delivery, and compliance with contractual quality and performance requirements.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure quality considerations are integrated early.
• Review customer quality notes and requirements in purchase orders.
• Collaborate with cross functional departments to ensure quality is built into every product.
• Work with vendors to verify compliance with quality standards and requirements.
• Maintain and update the QMS to align with current industry standards and best practices.
• Lead annual internal audits and support third party audits.
• Ensure end to end quality throughout the production process.
• Participate in special projects.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System requirements.
-Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing a Quality Assurance / Quality Control department.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of complex engineering drawings and GD&T concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with measuring equipment and inspection tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with CMM programming is a plus.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.
