A direct hire opportunity is available for a Quality Lead & IT Support professional in Riverside, CA. The Quality Lead & IT Support role will focus heavily on quality system leadership, including CAPA, COPQ, VOE, DCO, ECO, change management, document control, and QMS compliance, while also providing backup IT support as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support quality system activities, including CAPA investigations, COPQ tracking, VOE programs, DCOs, ECOs, change management, work instructions, and document reviews.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, support audits, follow QMS procedures, and help drive continuous improvement across quality and operations processes.
- Provide as-needed IT support, including help desk tickets, hardware and software support, IT asset tracking, inventory updates, server room organization, and basic systems support.
- Support business systems, reporting, and internal tools, including ERP data, SQL queries, Crystal Reports, SharePoint content, intranet updates, web applications, and website maintenance.
- Partner with IT leadership, project teams, operations, quality, and management to support system reviews, process improvements, strategic initiatives, and assigned project tasks.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams, vendors, customers, factory representatives, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues and move projects forward.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $52,000 to $72,800 per year.

- Provide backup IT help desk support, hardware and software support, IT asset tracking, and system administration assistance.
- Maintain ERP item catalog data, business system updates, reporting tools, SharePoint content, and internal documentation.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and tasks from initiation through closure while maintaining accurate records.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT support, IT administration, business systems, quality systems, manufacturing support, or operations support.
- Strong IT systems background with the ability to troubleshoot user issues, manage support requests, and support business applications.
- Experience with SQL queries, Crystal Reports, SharePoint, Active Directory, intranet tools, web applications, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of quality systems and documentation practices, including CAPA, ECO, DCO, change management, document reviews, and QMS procedures.
- Strong documentation skills with excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and quality record maintenance.
- Solid project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, vendors, factory representatives, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal, motivational, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with P21 or a similar ERP system.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, operations, or another quality-focused business environment.
- Familiarity with non-product software validation, COPQ tracking, VOE programs, CAPA investigations, ECO/DCO processes, software validation, document control, or QMS compliance.
- Experience with WordPress, SharePoint administration, phone systems, IT asset management, server room support, or internal web applications.
- Experience contributing to strategic planning, system enhancement reviews, process improvement initiatives, or IT project support.
