Job Summary

We are hiring multiple Quality Inspector - Medical openings for a direct hire opportunity in Camarillo, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented candidates with 1 to 2 years of quality inspection experience in a regulated manufacturing, medical device, biotech, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom production environment.

The Quality Inspector - Medical will support day-to-day quality control activities by inspecting materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable quality procedures. 

Key Responsibilities

- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Verify product quality against specifications, drawings, work instructions, and quality procedures.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain complete quality records.
- Identify, segregate, and report nonconforming materials or products according to established procedures.
- Partner with production, quality, and operations teams to support timely product flow and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area in accordance with manufacturing and quality standards.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $24 per hour for day shift openings.
- Pay for 3:00pm start: $25 per hour, including $24 base pay plus $1.00 shift differential.
- Employment type: Direct hire.
- Work location: On-site in Camarillo, CA.
- Available schedules:
- 2 openings with a 5:00am start.
- 2 openings with a 5:30am start.
- 1 opening with a 6:00am start.
- 1 opening with a 3:00pm start.
- Background check and drug screen are conducted upon offer.
- Two completed written professional references via email are requested when an offer is extended.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Inspect medical manufacturing products, components, and materials for quality and compliance.
- Review specifications, work instructions, and documentation to confirm product conformance.
- Record inspection results and communicate quality issues to appropriate teams.
- Support production quality by identifying defects, deviations, and nonconforming materials.

- 1 to 2 years of quality inspection, quality control, production inspection, or related manufacturing experience.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and follow written procedures, specifications, inspection criteria, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
- Ability to use basic inspection tools and follow quality control processes.
- Comfortable working on-site in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work the selected assigned schedule.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with quality, production, and operations teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in medical device, biotech, pharmaceutical, life sciences, cleanroom, or regulated manufacturing.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO, FDA-regulated, or quality management system environments.
- Experience performing visual inspection, dimensional inspection, incoming inspection, in-process inspection, or final inspection.
- Previous experience supporting quality control activities in a high-volume production environment.
