Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector AS9100 for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Valencia, CA. This role is ideal for a quality professional with manufacturing inspection experience who is comfortable working with metal finished parts, precision measuring tools, blueprints, and quality documentation.
The Quality Inspector AS9100 will support incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities in an aerospace and defense production environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of metal finished parts to verify compliance with specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related inspection tools.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications.
- Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials, parts, or products.
- Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
- Partner with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $30 to $32 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Perform inspections of metal finished parts throughout incoming, in-process, and final production stages.
- Verify product compliance using blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and precision measuring tools.
- Document inspection results, quality records, and nonconforming product findings.
- Support production and engineering teams in resolving quality issues.
- 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3-5 years of relevant quality inspection experience is strongly aligned with this role.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision inspection equipment.
- Experience inspecting metal parts, metal finishing products, or precision manufactured components.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate quality documentation.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Commitment to company quality standards, customer requirements, and safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in metal finishing, aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards.
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality requirements in an aerospace or defense environment.
- Experience with nonconformance reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
