We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector that have ISO 9001 for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fremont, CA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on manufacturing work, careful inspection, and helping production teams catch and correct issues before products reach the customer.
The Quality Inspector will inspect printed labels, nameplates, panels, overlays, and related manufactured products for accuracy, workmanship, and overall quality. This position also supports general production by helping employees resolve routine quality and manufacturing concerns, keeping jobs on track, and communicating issues early.
This is a practical, team-oriented environment where strong observation skills, good judgment, and respectful communication are valued. The right candidate will have the opportunity to make a visible impact by preventing mistakes, supporting production quality, and contributing to a reliable customer-focused operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect printed labels, nameplates, panels, overlays, and other manufactured products for quality, accuracy, defects, and conformance.
- Identify defects, communicate concerns to production operators, and help correct issues before jobs are completed or shipped.
- Maintain basic quality inspection records and assist with documentation related to defects, failures, and corrective actions.
- Investigate quality failures, determine likely causes, and prepare corrective action reports to help prevent repeat problems.
- Support production employees with quality and manufacturing questions, routine problem-solving, and job priority follow-up.
- Monitor active jobs to help ensure quality requirements, completion dates, and production priorities are being met.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $30 to $40 per hour, based on experience.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Full-time or part-time opportunities may be available.

- Inspect manufactured products for quality, accuracy, defects, and customer requirements.
- Support corrective action efforts by identifying likely causes of quality failures and documenting findings.
- Assist production teams with quality concerns, job follow-up, and routine manufacturing problem resolution.
- Help prevent repeat mistakes by communicating issues early and following up on corrective actions.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant quality inspection, manufacturing quality, or related production support experience.
- Ability to inspect repetitive work carefully while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Practical judgment to distinguish between significant defects and minor acceptable variations.
- Strong observational skills with the confidence to speak up when something does not look right.
- Ability to maintain basic inspection records and communicate quality findings clearly.
- Organized approach to tracking several jobs, priorities, quality requirements, and completion dates at the same time.
- Comfortable working with production employees and providing respectful direction or assistance as needed.
- Patient, dependable, and focused on preventing quality problems before products ship to customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience inspecting printed labels, nameplates, panels, overlays, graphics, or similar manufactured products.
- Familiarity with corrective action reporting, root cause investigation, or quality failure documentation.
- Prior experience supporting production teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience balancing inspection responsibilities with hands-on production support.
