Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Summary:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on a variety of products throughout multiple stages of production. This role ensures all products meet quality standards and customer requirements while maintaining accurate documentation and clear communication with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming and in-process products, including sheet metal, PCBAs/CCAs, printed circuit boards, conformal coating, labels/markings, cables, harnesses, COTS items, and other components.
• Conduct inspections at various stages such as Incoming, RMA, In-Process, Final, and Shipping.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and prepare First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) as required.
• Test and verify products for functional, mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics.
• Document inspection results and generate NCMRs, DCRs, and ERRs as needed.
• Communicate proactively with Project Managers and Quality Assurance regarding potential delays, urgent issues, and resolution plans.
